Sod Install Crew Member

As a Crew Member in our sod farming environment, you will contribute to the smooth operations of our farm. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks, including operating machinery, planting, mowing, and undertaking general farm labor duties. Your contributions will be pivotal in ensuring the quality of our farm products and operations.

Responsibilities:

• Support the installation of silt fencing, sod, and seeding on active job sites.
• Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment each day.
• Operate light machinery or assist with equipment as needed (training provided).
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Take direction from supervisors and crew leaders.
• Perform duties outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• Experience in erosion control, landscaping, or construction is preferred but not required.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Capable of lifting 50+ lbs and performing physically demanding outdoor work.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
