Sod Crew Driver

United Land Services (ULS) is a leading full-service landscaping company, recognized for delivering high-quality commercial landscape installation and maintenance services. With expertise in landscape design, irrigation systems, hardscapes, and outdoor lighting, ULS serves a wide range of properties, including residential developments, condominium complexes, commercial buildings, and shopping centers. 

Join our team as a Sod Crew Driver and take part in transforming outdoor spaces. In this role, you'll handle sod removal and installation while driving between project sites. You'll work with a range of landscaping tools and materials to help create vibrant, lasting landscapes for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport crew members, tools, and sod to and from job sites
• Assist with the removal and installation of sod according to project specifications
• Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and care of equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, tools, and work area
• Operate basic landscaping tools such as shovels, rakes, and wheelbarrows
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies on-site and while driving
• Communicate effectively with crew leaders and team members to ensure efficient workflow
• Inspect work areas and report any issues or hazards to the supervisor
• Assist with general landscaping tasks as needed, such as grading or soil preparation
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients or the public

Qualifications

• Experience in landscaping or sod work required
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather
• Able to work extended hours Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays
• Reliable, hardworking, and safety-focused
