Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Contracts Engineer to support the successful execution of EPC projects for ADNOC. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in contract administration, commercial management, and a proven track record of working on ADNOC Oil & Gas projects in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and manage contracts in accordance with ADNOC guidelines and project requirements.
- Administer the full contract lifecycle: pre-award, post-award, change orders, claims, and close-out.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC contractual procedures and UAE regulations.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier contracts for risk, accuracy, and alignment with project goals.
- Support tendering processes including preparation of RFQs, bid evaluations, and commercial clarifications.
- Coordinate with project, legal, procurement, and finance teams to align contract execution with organizational goals.
- Handle claims, dispute resolution, and variations in coordination with legal teams and ADNOC representatives.
- Maintain and update contract records, logs, and correspondence in accordance with internal and ADNOC audit requirements.
- Monitor and report contract performance, milestones, and risks to senior management.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 8 years of experience in contract management within the Oil & Gas EPC sector, with direct experience on ADNOC projects.
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of ADNOC contract procedures, documentation, and approval workflows.
- Familiarity with FIDIC and other standard forms of contract.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and communication skills.
