Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Commissioning Engineer PACO to support the planning and execution of commissioning activities related to automation, instrumentation, and control systems in offshore oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the functionality, reliability, and safety of PACO systems during pre-commissioning and commissioning phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of commissioning plans for PACO systems (DCS, ESD, F&G, PLC, SCADA).
- Perform loop checks, function tests, calibration, and verification of instrumentation and control equipment.
- Assist in the preparation of commissioning procedures, work packs, and punch lists.
- Interface with engineering, operations, and construction teams during system turnover.
- Participate in FATs, SATs, and system walkdowns to ensure compliance with design and performance standards.
- Maintain commissioning records and contribute to system handover documentation.
- Monitor and report on commissioning progress and resolve field issues in real-time.
Required Qualification & Skills
- Relevant Engineering degree
- 8-12 years of relevant experience in commissioning of PACO systems, preferably offshore.
- Proficient with industry-standard automation systems and tools.
- Familiarity with IEC, ISA, and other relevant standards.
- BOSIET certification is mandatory.
