About the job Rigging Supervisor (Offshore)
Job Purpose:
Supervise rigging operations during vessel mobilization and offshore campaigns, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee rigging activities, demonstrating work methods and performing critical tasks as needed.
- Train and develop subordinates, ensuring proper use and maintenance of equipment.
- Monitor work progress, materials, and man-hours to prevent waste.
- Enforce safety protocols and investigate crew grievances.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Secondary School Certificate with technical qualification (or equivalent).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas, preferably offshore.
- Proficiency in English, computer literacy, and offshore safety certifications.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and confined spaces.
Work Environment:
Primarily offshore, with exposure to heights, confined spaces, and harsh weather.
