The team

You will join a well-established Capital Markets Middle Office team supporting multiple asset classes across APAC and EMEA. Working closely with Front Office, Back Office, Risk, and Technology teams, the department plays a critical role in ensuring transaction integrity, operational control, and seamless post-trade processing. The team supports a wide range of products and provides direct interaction with trading desks, sales teams, and external counterparties.

The role

As an Equity Middle Office Support, you will provide operational support to Equity Trading and Sales teams, covering Equity Derivatives, Structured Products, Equity Finance, and Delta One activities. You will be responsible for trade lifecycle management, event processing, trade validation, market data monitoring, corporate actions, and reconciliation activities. The role offers significant exposure to front-office stakeholders and financial products, requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment.

The requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in a Middle Office environment, ideally supporting Equity Derivatives, Structured Products, Delta One, or Securities Lending/Borrowing (SLB) activities
  • Strong understanding of equity products, trade lifecycle management, and associated operational risks
  • Experience processing trade events, amendments, cancellations, corporate actions, and structured product lifecycle events
  • Knowledge of financial products such as Equity Derivatives, Structured Notes, Accumulators/Decumulators, TRS, and Equity Finance products
  • Experience investigating and resolving trade breaks, reconciliations, and post-trade issues
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with regular interaction with Front Office and support functions
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; VBA knowledge is an advantage
  • Familiarity with market data platforms such as Bloomberg and Reuters is preferred
  • Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline
  • Fluency in English required; French or an Asian language would be a plus
