The Company

Our client is a specialist management consulting firm partnering with leading financial institutions across Asia. For this assignment, they are supporting a top tier European CIB with a strong presence across APAC, which is undertaking a strategic initiative to enhance its regulatory reporting capabilities and streamline automation across its global operations. 

The Team

You will join a cross-functional team working at the intersection of Operations, IT, Compliance, and offshore delivery units. The team is focused on delivering high-priority enhancements to reporting processes, automation initiatives, and governance structures to meet global regulatory and exchange requirements.

The Role

  • Lead and coordinate a multi-stakeholder project spanning Operations, IT, Compliance, and offshore teams
  • Conduct gap analyses to identify weaknesses and improvement areas in current regulatory and exchange reporting processes
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to define, prioritize, and implement automation initiatives
  • Partner with Compliance to align internal control frameworks with regulatory expectations
  • Deliver strategic recommendations and roadmaps to senior stakeholders
  • Manage day-to-day project execution across multiple workstreams
  • Produce high-quality project documentation including process maps, reporting inventories, and risk assessments
  • Track and report on project progress, risks, and dependencies

The Requirements

  • Solid experience in project management and business analysis within financial services, particularly in regulatory reporting or compliance
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to deep dive into high-risk reports to identify actionable improvements
  • Proven ability to manage global stakeholders and offshore delivery teams
  • Familiarity with automation technologies and control frameworks within the regulatory reporting domain
  • Comfortable in a hybrid role combining strategic oversight and operational execution
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred due to project urgency
