We are seeking a Product Development and Purchasing Director to be a core member of our management team. This role will bridge design creativity and production realization, significantly impacting our product competitiveness.

Role Overview

As the Product Development and Purchasing Director, you will lead and coordinate the entire process of fabric development and procurement. You will ensure alignment with the companys product strategy while providing innovative fabric solutions.

Responsibilities

• Formulate strategic plans for fabric development and procurement.
• Build and optimize a fabric knowledge base and inventory management system.
• Analyze procurement data and market trends to support decision-making.
• Lead fabric innovation projects and manage a global supplier network.
• Establish fabric quality control standards and monitor procurement costs.
• Collaborate with design, production, and marketing teams to implement fabric solutions.
• Organize team training and promote sustainable fabric technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or higher in Textile Engineering, Fashion Design, Materials Science, or related fields.
• Over 10 years of product development and procurement experience in the apparel industry, with at least 5 years in a management role.
• Proficient in fabric characteristics, production processes, and quality standards.
• Strong understanding of garment production and supply chain management.
• English proficiency at CET-4 level or equivalent, with good communication skills.
• Preferred certifications: PMP, CPIM, or CSCP.
