The Team
You will join a highly skilled front office technology team responsible for supporting and enhancing post-trade systems used by trading desks across multiple asset classes (FX, rates, and cross-asset products). The team collaborates closely with global stakeholders and plays a critical role in the daily operations of the trading business.
The Role
This role involves supporting a mission-critical front office post-trade application. You will handle functional and technical support for trading systems, monitor incoming requests, assist developers with initial analysis, manage incidents, and participate in global projects related to testing and integration. The role requires strong communication, multi-tasking, and analytical skills in a high-pressure environment.
The Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in banking as an IT support analyst, business analyst, or developer
- Must have experience in using trading operational system front to back.
- Experience supporting post-trade front office applications is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of FX and rates products (Spot, Forwards, Swaps, NDFs, FX Options, IRS)
- Familiarity with P&L and Risk Management concepts (e.g., VaR, Stressed VaR)
- Technical experience in:
- C# (desirable)
- Windows Server and UNIX environments (including shell/Perl scripting)
- SQL and stored procedures, with basic query optimisation
- Monitoring tools such as ITRS Geneos
- Large batch systems (e.g., Control-M)
- Strong communication skills, able to explain technical issues to non-technical users
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Fluency in English is essential
