The Team
You will join a dynamic, agile team based in Hong Kong, responsible for enhancing and supporting the pre-trade sales platform for the Asia region. The team collaborates closely with sales desks, global development teams, and operations to deliver a seamless and reliable trading experience for clients.
The Role
As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will play a key role in maintaining platform stability, improving service performance, and enabling smooth CI/CD operations. You will act as a technical advisor, DevOps engineer, and strategic thinker - ensuring both business continuity and future scalability. This is a critical role for someone passionate about financial technology, platform resilience, and automation.
The Requirements
- Strong experience in IT development or SRE roles within the financial industry
- Proficiency in .NET for backend and webservice API development
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting frameworks (e.g., ELK)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible)
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and public IaaS (e.g., AWS preferred, Azure, GCP)
- Good understanding of financial markets and pre-trade sales workflows
- Familiarity with Equities/FI structured products: options, futures, swaps, bonds
- Strong communication skills ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Autonomous, meticulous, and a strong team player
- Experience with GitHub Copilot and Jira is a plus
