Responsibilities:

• Develop and propose a buying plan for new merchandise aligned with our business strategies.
• Liaise with vendors regarding terms, pricing, and purchase orders.
• Set competitive retail prices for merchandise within your categories.
• Proactively source new products while adhering to quality standards.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote brands and products and establish visual merchandising guidelines.
• Monitor inventory levels and sales performance, proposing improvements as needed.
• Investigate complaints and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.

Requirements:

• University graduate with at least 8 years of merchandising experience in retail, FMCG, or fresh and chilled products.
• Strong business acumen coupled with excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
• Proactive with strong interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of working independently.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong numerical analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Competent in PC applications, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
