The Team
Join a dedicated FX sales technology team based in Hong Kong, responsible for supporting and improving the FX trading sales platform across Asia. This team plays a crucial role in driving revenue while contributing to the company's digital transformation initiatives.

The Role
We are looking for an Agile Full-Stack Developer who will design and implement modern, modular solutions with a strong emphasis on supportability, scalability, and sustainability. The successful candidate will engage closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage release processes, and ensure platform stability.

The Requirements

• Functional Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, particularly FX business and associated products.
  • Understanding of FX voice and electronic sales workflows.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create detailed documentation.
  • Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in English.

• Technical Experience:

  • Advanced proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot for microservice REST APIs.
  • Skilled in JavaScript for Angular.js micro frontend design.
  • Expertise in SQL with a focus on Postgres storage solutions.
  • Proven experience in developing and enhancing complex Front-Office IT systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies.

• Product Experience:

  • Basic knowledge of FX instruments such as Spot, Forward, and Swap.
  • Familiarity with popular FX trades and structures.

• Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Extensive IT development experience within the financial industry.
  • Approved Person Registration.

  • Self-motivated and autonomous.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Meticulous, rigorous, and a fast learner.
