Our client is a prominent global financial services and insurance institution with an established regional headquarters in Hong Kong. The organization combines a robust international enterprise footprint with specialized regional execution to support multi-country markets across Asia.
The Team
You will join a dynamic Regional and CIO Office unit. This team is responsible for driving large-scale infrastructure standardization, global shared services transitions, and regional technology governance initiatives across multiple country entities in collaboration with global and regional leadership.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / PMO Lead to direct and coordinate major transformation initiatives, including infrastructure migration programs, shared-services integration (Unity), and CIO office target operating model alignment (One Governance). In this end-to-end management role, you will take full ownership of program roadmaps, transition waves, knowledge transfer workflows, governance frameworks, and executive status reporting to key stakeholders.
The Requirements
- Experience: At least 10 years of relevant experience in IT project management, technology governance, or production management within a complex international environment (Insurance or Financial Services background preferred).
- Transformation & Transition Expertise: Proven track record in managing infrastructure rationalization, cloud migration, shared services and offshoring transitions, or CIO Office target operating model (TOM) design.
- Technical & Operational Knowledge: Strong practical knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM), production governance, IT asset management (ITAM), technology obsolescence, vulnerability remediation, observability, and business continuity.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Demonstrated experience coordinating complex regional, country, global, and offshore/nearshore technology teams, facilitating executive workshops, and producing C-suite dashboards.
- Autonomy & Traceability: Ability to work autonomously, maintain audit-ready documentation and traceability, and handle confidential information appropriately.
- Languages & Compliance: Mandatory fluency in English (written and spoken). Working proficiency in Japanese and/or Chinese (Traditional/Mandarin) with the ability to review documentation is a strong advantage for managing regional regulatory and asset requirements in Japan and Taiwan.
