GLL Supervisor 1

Purpose of the Role:

The GLL Supervisor 1 is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the assigned warehouse. The role includes supervising the full handling process of tobacco from Buying and Storage up to Transfer Out as well as managing the acceptance, issuance, and accurate documentation of all farm input items such as fertilizers, seeds, and other materials.

Here's how you would make an impact:

• Lead day-to-day warehouse operations with a safety-first mindset (PPE, 5S, housekeeping).
• Oversee receiving, storage, inventory accuracy, and transfer-out of tobacco.
• Manage acceptance, issuance, and accountability of farm inputs and records.
• Execute cycle counts/stock takes, investigate variances and reduce shrinkage/handling losses.
• Coordinate with Buying Stations, Logistics/Transport, Finance, and QA for on-time, in-full movements.
• Produce timely, accurate reports (inventory, movements, compliance).
• Coach, schedule, and develop warehouse teams and operators.

Here's what we're looking for:

• Graduate of any 4-year course (preferred: Business, Agriculture, or Computer courses).
• 2 years in a supervisory role and at least 1 year experience in the tobacco industry.
• TESDA NC II Driving, BOSH, First Aid, and Basic Firefighting are advantages.
• Computer literate (MS Excel/Word; basic WMS exposure is a plus).
• Strong leadership, planning, time management, and communication skills.
• Resilient, fair judgment, integrity, open-mindedness and able to work under pressure.
• Basic safety/DOLE OSH awareness.
