Safety Marshal

Purpose of the Role:

To implement Policies and Procedures, and Programs to ensure health and safety for employees and facility conditions.

What You'll Do:

• To check EHSS violations and unsafe acts of employees.
• Coordinates/ collaborates with other EHSS Team members to ensure the implementation and compliance of the EHSS policies and procedures with the set company policies on EHSS;
• To correct unsafe conditions by directly correcting problems or reporting of problems to accountable groups.
• To conduct daily spot check for NTRM, Safety and Sanitation.
• To assist in conducting toolbox meetings and safety orientations.
• To conduct inspection of the following with respect to assignments:
  Fire Extinguishers
  Fire hydrants
  Fire hose and cabinets
  First aid kits and first organizers
  Emergency lights
• Outside warehouse inspection
• Issuance of work permits (hot work, working on heights, confined space, and hazardous activities)
• Fabrication and installation of safety signboards
• Monitoring of parking areas
• Monitoring of construction safety
• Conduct health checks at the gate when necessary
• Conduct Temperature check
• Conduct Alcohol test
• Conduct PPE inventory and issuances
• Conduct incident investigation and root cause analysis
• Assist in preparation of safety projects and monthly programs
• Act as first aiders of the company
• Initiates proactive measures to prevent accident by EHSS Orientation to employees.
• Handles trade test for applicant for forklift operators
• Accomplish / complete EHSS KPIs set for the year.
• Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

What We're Looking For:

Education: Graduate in college (Engineering, Nursing, Criminology, Computer Science and IT)

Experience: None required

Skills and Knowledge: 

• Good communication skills (can speak or write in English and Filipino), verbal and written reports, investigation skill.
• Computer literate (MS WORD, EXCEL and Power Point)
• Capable of analyzing unsafe acts and unsafe conditions for formulation of corrective actions
• Undergone trainings related to Safety and Health Experience in EHS related works (fire safety, first aid, investigation, and reporting)

(1) Agoo, La Union and (1) San Jacinto, Pangasinan
