Purpose of the Role:

The role will work closely with the management to learn the intricacies of leaf operations and assist in planning, managing, and implementing Leaf Operation activities in accordance with the standards of the department and the company.

Here's how you would make an impact:

1. Oversee the entire tobacco production process from cultivation to leaf processing.
2. Develop expertise in assessing tobacco leaves based on visual appearance, texture, aroma, and other physical attributes.
3. Identify and recommend process enhancements to improve efficiency and quality in Leaf Operations Division.
4. Collaborate with the management in budgets and production plans, utilizing historical data for informed implementation.
5. Coordinate effectively with Growing Operations, Sales, Production, and other departments to ensure alignment in leaf-related activities.
6. Consolidate subordinate reports and prepare periodic accomplishment, financial, and operational reports for management review.
7. Lead regular meetings to communicate updated departmental and company policies to Leaf Supervisors.
8. Drive operational efficiency and productivity, while safeguarding employee health, safety, and wellness.
9. Establish and sustain strong professional relationships with clients, government representatives, suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders involved in Leaf Operations.
10. Performs additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate superior, supporting the overall success of production operations.

  • A degree in Agriculture, Business, or any related technical field.
  • Recent graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
  • At least two years professional experience in agriculture, factory production, or related operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and lead teams effectively.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills across all levels.
  • Skilled in managing multiple projects, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
