Purpose of the Role:
This role involves ensuring compliance with established standards and processes of the respective area of assignment by conducting regular reviews of operational activities, including the implementation of validation activities and reporting of findings and results.
Here's how you would make an impact:
- Ensures implementation of regular field validations and monitoring related to Package of Technology (POT), Non-Tobacco Related Materials (NTRM) and Records Verification.
- Coordinates with the Growing Operations and Agronomy within their area of responsibility in planning and scheduling of validation activities particularly, Seedling Production, Field Monitoring, Tobacco Receiving, Golden Eagle Projects, and other requested activities.
- Determines the extent of compliance with established standards, policies and processes of the department based on the Departments Procedures Manual within their area of responsibility.
- Consolidates, analyzes and reports timely and relevant findings and risk assessment to immediate superior and auditees.
- Documents all operational incident reports (OIR) within area of responsibility and ensure follow-ups to determine effectiveness of implemented action plans.
- Reviews records and activities of subordinates to ensure proper scheduling and attainment of targets.
- Monitors field activities of Growing Operations by conducting regular field validations/visitations.
- Conducts regular spot-checks on documentation and reporting requirements of Growing Operations for veracity and reliability.
- Conducts personal interviews with farmers and other suppliers to gather relevant information necessary to determine compliance on set parameters.
- Documents and reports all STP/ALP related violations simultaneously with all field validation activities.
- Ensures validation review is conducted to verify the status or recurrence of violation spotted/reported.
- Performs other functions as may be assigned by the immediate superior.
Here's what we're looking for:
- Graduate of any Business or Agricultural courses, or related technical courses.
- Six (6) months to one (1) year experience in a similar role or industry.
- Fresh graduates with good academic records may be considered.
- Must have a valid Professional or Non-professional Drivers License
- Other courses with related work experience may be considered.
- Experience in a similar role or industry (preferably field works).
