About the job Legal Associate
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
As a legal associate, you will be in-charge in preparing legal documents such as but not limited to Contracts, Agreements, Demand Letters, Affidavits and Special Power of Attorney (SPA). Act as representative of the Legal Services Group during admin hearing and investigation. And act as representative of the Company during resolution of external issues especially during vehicular accidents
Here's how you would make an impact:
- You will prepare drafts of Legal Documents such Contract, Agreement, Demand Letters, Affidavits, Special Power of Attorney, Deed of Sale, and Certification, process notarization of Legal Documents.
- In charge of uploading Legal Documents in Archive One and processing its transmittal to Data Protection and Management (DPM) Group for physical storage.
- Conduct Company Policy and Basic Law orientation for newly hired employees and Refresher Course for old employees.
- Attend administrative hearing and investigation.
- Assist in the collection and preservation of evidence.
- Monitor and process payment of fees for Retainers and notary billing.
- Send demand letters for Farmers bad debt through registered mail.
- Monitor and process request for office supplies, purchases and stocks.
- Attend meetings with the Local Government Unit (LGU) and Government Agencies as may be deemed necessary.
- Responding to reports on Vehicular Incidents and assisting in its resolution by entering into a Compromise Agreement if necessary, ensuring the protection of Employee and Company.
- From time to time, assist in processing of Vehicle Registration and Business Permit and Licenses.
- Perform another task as instructed.
Here's what we're looking for:
- Graduate of AB - Political Science, AB English, AB - Psychology, BS - Legal Management, BS Public Management or other related courses.
- Excellent in verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical and has strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Prior experience in handling vehicle registration, processing permits & Licenses, managing legal documents, coordinating with government agencies and handling administrative tasks.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- With one year experience in the Legal or HR functions on Labor Relations.
- Must hold a valid Driver's License.
