About the job Growing Operations Management Trainee
Purpose of the role:
Walk into the fields of gold and take the role of GO Management Trainee where you will oversee day-to-day management of our tobacco growing operations and lead our frontline people and farmer cooperators in ensuring we produce best quality tobacco leaves. As part of the management team, you will be in charge of planning for the tobacco season which includes ensuring that your team both the frontline people and the farmers have the necessary resources for them to have a productive and successful season. You will also have the chance to represent the company in dialogues with the farmers, LGUs, partner agencies, and other stakeholders on discussions of how to make tobacco growing a prosperous endeavor in the communities. You will be the captain on the ground taking ownership and making decisions that have an immediate and profound impact on your operations.

- You will guarantee that you have planned for the season preparing your budget and the resources for your team members and the farmer cooperators. You will also ensure that these resources will be used efficiently, according to the company policies as well as the agreed program for the season.
- Contribute to crafting strategies on how to make tobacco production sustainable, making sure that how we do our business have less and less harmful impacts to the environment and the community while achieving yield and quality targets.
- In your area of responsibility, you are the captain. You will be quarterbacking the operations. Your team will look up to you on how to carry out your planned activities as well as providing guidance on how to keep things moving when faced with challenges.
- Keeping upper management informed of how things are going in the ground is vital as the information you can and have to provide are essential in their decision-making. Providing accurate and timely reports on your operations will be part of your routine.

Here's what we're looking for:
- Degree in Agriculture or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in Sales, Field Monitoring, and People Management will give you an edge.
- Resilience and Perseverance will be badges which you should wear all the time. You're a team player who thrives in fast-paced environments and does not run away from challenges.
- Open to relocation and eager to travel across Region I and Region II, wherever your expertise is needed.
- Open to being based to assigned area of responsibility; wouldn't mind travelling across Region I or II.
