Skilled Welder

Purpose of the Role:

The Project-Based Skilled Welder (2025-2807) is responsible for performing a wide range of tasks, including joining, modifying, fabricating, and repairing equipment and metal components for a specific project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform precise welding and cutting tasks according to project specifications and safety standards.
• Fabricate and install pipe supports, barricades, and other metal components.
• Assemble and prepare metal structures for installation, ensuring accuracy and structural integrity.
• Set up ladders, scaffolding, and platforms for safe welding operations.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by the immediate superior.

What we're looking for:

• Graduate of a vocational course specializing in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) or any mechanical engineering-related program.
• With at least one year of hands-on experience in welding and metal fabrication
• Must hold a National Certificate II (NC II) in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)
• Has strong integrity, honesty, reliability, and commitment to quality work
