Operations Director

Upgradable is seeking an Operations Director. Were looking for someone who is passionate about changing themselves and the world. This person will be the core engine for operations, doing just about everything from the big picture to the nitty gritty to ensure the smooth running of the organization.

Why is this role important? 

As the Operations Director, you ensure things get done across the organization efficiently and effectively. In virtue of this, you act as a force multiplier for the entire team. 

What will you do?

• Work with the executive team to set strategic goals and translate them into operational objectives and plans
• Work with all department heads to set objectives and key performance indicators
• Manage the monitoring and reporting of KPIs and decide on actions for any interventions
• Establish and execute operational and planning processes
• Work across all departments to drive operational efficiency
• Select and maintain tools and software that help to improve work processes and productivity
• Maintain our shared Drive
• Create budgets, make payments, and handle all financial accounts
• Apply for grants and obtain other resources as needed
• Maintain compliance with local and international laws
• Set up and manage team office
• Own other projects and ad hoc tasks as needed
