Our client, a global manufacturing company expanding its operations in Türkiye with a new production facility in İzmir, is looking for a "Lean Specialist" to join their blade manufacturing team.

This role will be responsible for implementing and sustaining lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lean Implementation: Develop and implement lean strategies and initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce waste.
  • Process Improvement: Conduct value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and other lean tools to identify and eliminate inefficiencies.
  • Kaizen Events: Lead and facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshops to drive process improvements.
  • Training and Coaching: Provide training and support to employees on lean principles and practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and engineering, to implement lean projects and initiatives.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of lean activities, improvements, and results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • 5-7 years experience in lean manufacturing implementation/execution, preferably in the blade manufacturing or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of lean tools and methodologies, such as 5S, value stream mapping, standard work, root cause analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive change.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Project management experience and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluency in English is a must. German and/or Spanish is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience in blade manufacturing industry.
  • Familiarity with supply chain processes and quality management systems.
