Our client, a global manufacturing company expanding its operations in Türkiye with a new production facility in İzmir, is looking for a "Sr. Lean Specialist" to join their blade manufacturing team.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Lean Specialist to join Blade Manufacturing team. This role will lead the design, implementation, and sustainability of Lean manufacturing practices to drive productivity, eliminate waste, and enhance overall operational performance. The ideal candidate will act as a change agent, embedding a culture of continuous improvement across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Desing, develop and sustain Lean standards (Systems, processes & Tools)
- Develop and execute Lean transformation roadmap
- Facilitate Business strategy deployment
- Identify & Lead cross-functional transformation programs
- Foster a continuous improvement culture across all functions
- Coach leaders and teams on Lean principles and behaviors
- Build internal Lean capabilities through training and mentorship
- Develop Lean champions across the organization
- Implement productions system in all manufacturing Plants (5S, performance management, Standard work, VSM, TPM, Problem solving, etc.)
- Ensure proper usage of Lean methodologies and tools
- Apply and ensure the right usage of structured problem-solving methodologies (PSR, A3, DMAIC, 4D- 8D) to identify root causes, implement effective countermeasures, and ensure sustainable solutions.
- Lead and facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshops to drive Operational & Transactional improvements.
- Lead and facilitate 3P (Production Preparation Process) workshops to design and implement efficient, waste-free processes, integrating flow, ergonomics, quality, and cost optimization from the concept stage.
Required Qualifications/skills:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in lean manufacturing, preferably in the blade manufacturing or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of lean tools and methodologies, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis.
- Demonstrated experience leading Kaizens (operational & transactional),
- Continuous improvement and 3P workshops.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive change.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Project management experience and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Lean Six Sigma certification.
- Experience in the blade manufacturing industry or Labour intensive industry.
- Familiarity with supply chain processes and quality management systems.
