Job Overview

IT Support Engineer will be responsible for managing the execution of daily procurement requests and key Information Technology procurement functions, manage all aspects of IT procurement, and contribute to MIS operations. Additionally, this role involves developing and monitoring of IT budgets and estimates and supervising outsourced IT procurement teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring accuracy in data recording and communication with internal users, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Adhere to established global procurement protocols and reconcile MIS data provided by finance.
  • Manage Information Technology accounts payable and budgets, verifying invoices and resolving procurement-related disputes.
  • Ensure timely processing of undisputed payments within 30 days of equipment or service delivery.
  • Monitor and manage VFS Information Technology budgets and estimates, including incorporating new projects and initiatives during planning and generating required reports.
  • Supervise Information Technology asset maintenance, including managing AMCs and replacing hardware before EOL/EOS.
  • Provide support to the outsourced Information Technology procurement team.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Graduate/ postgraduate degree or Global Equivalent Degree

Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience, with at least 1 year of mid-range organization procurement and inventory management experience.
