Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join the finance team of one of our reputed advisory firm clients in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle general accounting activities

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis

• Prepare and assist with VAT calculations, filings, and compliance

• Support internal and external audits

• Assist in preparation of MIS reports and financial statements

• Ensure accuracy and compliance with UAE accounting regulations

Requirements

• 2–4 years of UAE accounting experience

• Strong exposure to general accounting, AP, AR, and bank reconciliation

• Hands-on experience with UAE VAT

• Experience assisting with audits and MIS reporting

• Professional qualification preferred: CA / ACCA / CMA / CPA (or equivalent)

• Proficient in accounting systems and MS Excel

• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
