Business Development Manager Isotank Transportation

About the Role

Our client is an international logistics company specializing in isotank container transportation. As part of their European expansion, they are looking for a Business Development Manager to strengthen their presence in Belgium, the Netherlands or the United Kingdom.

The role requires a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in isotank or liquid bulk logistics, capable of driving growth, securing new clients, and expanding business opportunities in these markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to acquire new customers in isotank transportation across the assigned region.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in chemical, petrochemical, and related industries.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal operations and customer service teams to deliver solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to provide insights and strategies.
  • Meet and exceed defined sales and business development targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of direct sales experience in isotank transportation or liquid bulk logistics.
  • Established client network in Belgium, the Netherlands, or United Kingdom highly desirable.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Fluency in English; additional European languages (Dutch, French) are an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned market.
