Accountant

What You'll Do

• Manage AP, AR, GL, fixed assets and daily accounting operations.
• Monitor cash flow and ensure sufficient funds for operations.
• Prepare journal entries and handle month-end closing.
• Prepare monthly P&L, cash flow and management reports.
• Prepare budget variance and ageing analysis reports.
• Process vendor payments, employee claims and petty cash.
• Monitor inventory reconciliation and stock variance reports.
• Maintain ERP product costing and ensure costing accuracy.
• Coordinate monthly and annual stock counts.
• Perform bank and intercompany reconciliations.
• Assist with budgeting, cash flow forecasts and tax computations.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers and relevant authorities.
• Ensure timely submission of monthly management accounts.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
• Supervise and guide junior finance team members when required.
• Support the Finance Manager on finance-related matters.

Ideal Candidates

• Practical experience in full set of accounts and month-end closing.
• Experience in inventory accounting and product costing.
• ERP experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• ACCA / MIA membership is preferred.
• Experience with cash flow, budgeting and reconciliation.
