About the job External Audit Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, organize, review, and evaluate the conduct of the engagement in consultation with the engagement partner; exercise direct responsibility over the on-the-job training of audit seniors and associates.
  • Meet the professions and the Firms technical standards as established in current professional pronouncements and Firm policies.
  • Provide clients with quality service, preserve engagement and client confidentiality, and enhance professional relationships with client personnel.
  • Share with concerned team members insight into the theory and principles of accounting, and the objectives, standards, and procedures of auditing.
  • Review work outputs produced by staff and ensure that audit procedures are performed in accordance with standards.
  • Identify specific issues relative to an engagement and determine appropriate strategies in consultation with the engagement partner.
  • Comply with the Firms administrative policies, practices, and guidelines.
  • Demonstrate integrity, maturity, dependability, tact, positive attitude, and enthusiasm in the performance of responsibilities.
  • Cooperate with colleagues in a manner that recognizes the importance of teamwork in providing professional services.


Requirements:

  • Certified Public Accountant
  • With at least 6 years of experience in the same level in Audit
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work with multiple engagement teams
  • Analytical skills with keen attention to detail
  • Proven ability to handle stress and accomplish goals with minimal supervision
