About the job Field Network Team Leader

Summary:

Responsible for network integration and support to ensure delivery of products and services of the company are meet accordingly. Also responsible for circuit activation and troubleshooting, act as the mobile field service engineer on assigned open tickets to resolve customer affecting issues in a timely fashion in order to maintain maximum customer satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering, ECE or related field of study with a network engineering focus.

Relevant Experience:
1. With experience in the related field is a plus.
2. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. - Basic understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
3. Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices including routers, switches and controllers.

Business Understanding:

1. Knowledge in networking and familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices and procedures.
2. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Documentation skills


Technical Knowledge
1. Knowledgeable in DWDM Technology.
2. Knowledgeable in MPLS Technology.
3. Knowledge in LAN, WAN, MAN topology.
4. Knowledgeable in routing and switching concepts
5. Knowledgeable in network infrastructure.
6. Basic understanding in network protocols.
7. Knowledge in Fiber Optic Network Architecture Must possess a valid drivers license with a good driving record.

1. Must possess the ability to interpret and apply complex technical manuals and reference materials.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Operational

1.Responsible for network integration and acceptance.
2. 
Performs industry standard throughput testing.
3. 
Handles circuit activation and provide appropriate configurations of CPE prior to deployment.
4. 
Monitor mateline application for deployment and provide support to ensure continuity and availability of all network services.
5. 
Network and client troubleshooting and fault analysis

Measurement Criteria

1. All equipment are tested prior to deployment and should go through the acceptance process 100%.
2. 
All test result should be 100% successful.
3. 
100% installation procedure met industry standard.
4. 
Acknowledge assigned work order and guarantees 24/7 on call availability.
5. 
Able to analyze all escalated network and client trouble tickets, was able to conduct effective fault diagnosis and system recovery within the SLA

Information Management

1. Provide service report on every network activities and events.
2. 
Identifies all active network elements.

Measurement Criteria

1. All activities have corresponding work order under NIAP with 100% updates and details on each process.
2. 
Update monthly node inventory

Financial and Physical Resources

1. Monitor all inventory of incoming and outgoing equipment.
2. 
Provide list of equipment and materials per circuit activation.
3. 
Database management on node inventory and corporate circuits nationwide.

Measurement Criteria

1. All list of equipment are documented per node.
2. 
All list of equipment and materials should be indicated on the service report including serial number and quantity.
3. 
Monthly update on node inventory and clients per area/region.

Career Development

1. Keep up-to date with the latest relevant technology, relevant standards, policies and directives.

2. Networking Certification

Measurement Criteria

1 training / seminar per vendor.
