Senior Back-End Developer

Responsibilities:

• Review backend requirements involving:
  • multi-service systems
  • REST APIs
  • data ingesting modules
  • integration with external/legacy systems
  • scheduled jobs or background processing

• Analyse API request/response structures, performance considerations, and data rules.
• Validate system logic for workflows involving data collection processing storage reporting.
• Provide backend insights during system design documentation.
• Identify potential technical constraints, risks, or optimisations.
• Collaborate with analysts to ensure backend design is practical.

Requirements:

• 5-8 years backend development/architecture experience.
• Strong in Laravel, Node.js, or Python-based backend stacks.
• Experience with data-driven enterprise systems is highly preferred.
• Experience dealing with government IT environments is a plus.
• Understanding of microservices, integration patterns, and API gateway concepts.
