Contract Manager
Department: Contract and Procurement Department
Reporting to : Assistant General Manager
No. of Subordinate: Nil.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Review of contract agreements and tender documents to ensure alignment with:
(a) the requirements made by the Business Unit;
(b) standard operating procedure;
(c) internal approvals;
(d) other practices which may be required from time to time.
-Post contract compliance including contractors submission of bonds, insurances etc and
-keeping track of the validity of the said documents.
- Keeping track of completion dates, record keeping of all Extension of Times (EOT) and Variation Order (VO).
-Monitor application for payment from contractors & suppliers including to ensure compliance with internal payment process.
-Pre and post award monitoring.
Requirements
-Candidate should possess at least a Degree in Law or equivalent.
-Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
-Experience in construction industry and processes.
-A good team player.
-Meticulous.
-At least 7 years of experience in legal and contract management
