Job Description

- Member of the technical team who performs technical role as senior developer in support of development, implementation, maintenance and operations of application systems / IT solution (local and regional)
- Technical expert on the development and implementation of application system with focus on ETL and Moodys Balance Sheet Management applications
- Review user requirement, document functional and technical design specifications, perform coding and implement end-to-end functional application solution according to user requirement
- Support functional and non-functional testing incl. performance testing. Identify areas of improvement in test coverage and test effectiveness 

- Implementation of fixes and change releases in accordance with change management process for production rollout
- Provide user support and identify areas of improvement to implement project or user change request to create added values to business 

- Drive continuous improvement in application performance with focus on operations efficiency and improvement of the daily automated batch processes and timely delivery of the user reports
- Work closely with team leader, project manager, users, business stakeholders and other IT teams to deliver results incl. the IT Production Operations team for batch related issues, multiple business and IT source system owners for data integrity checks
- Provide training, knowledge transfers and guidance to junior team members

Key Competencies

- Knowledge and experience in IT application architecture, analysis, design and development.
- Experience in ETL development tool (preferable Informatica), Unix and PL/SQL
- Experience in supporting and troubleshooting Moodys Fermat ALM and Risk Authority (RAY) applications.
- Ability to formulate execution plans to resolve application performance issues and to improve existing functionality as well as query efficiency.
- Understanding of data structure, business process workflow to manage user requirement expectations and project scope.
- Supervisory skills.
- Understanding of the IT solution discipline, processes and concepts.
- Technical aptitude, basic knowledge and experience across application, information, technology, and process domains. 

- Ability to manage parallel work streams to meet tight deadlines and deliver high quality output.
- Understanding in project management processes and methodologies including common roles and responsibilities. 

- A team player with strong engagement and communication skills to interact with all team members.

Experience

- Minimum 7 years in application development, planning, project management (small and medium projects) and integration of Business and IT solutions

- Preferred in Information Technology (IT) discipline

Certification

- Tertiary education at least
- Discipline/Related Field: Information Technology (IT)
