Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Operations Management: Oversee the accounts receivable process, including invoice issuance, customer aging analysis, and collection efforts.

- Revenue Assurance: Ensure all sales invoices and accrued revenue are supported by proper documentation, such as customer acceptance forms,/sign-offs, or timesheets, and follow up with project managers as needed.

- Accounting & Compliance: Track the reversal of accrued revenue and ensure accurate posting of relevant entries in the accounting system.

- E-Invoicing Compliance: Collaborate with management on the upcoming e-invoicing implementation, overseeing the process from creation to submission and receipt while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

- Financial Reporting: Prepare the monthly financial reports of each companies, Group Consolidated Financial Statement and Group Quarterly Financial Report for Bursa Malaysia announcements, ensuring compliance with Bursa regulations.

- Fixed Assets Management: Maintain the fixed assets register and perform monthly depreciation calculations.

ISO & Procurement Compliance: Ensure adherence to ISO procurement requirements by verifying that all necessary documents are submitted, approved, and properly filed for ISO audits.

- Team Leadership & Development: Build, mentor, and manage a team of junior finance executives, providing guidance, training, and performance management to ensure a high-performing finance function.

= Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance and effective financial operations.

- Reporting Structure: Report directly to the Group Chief Executive Officer.

Key Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification.

- Experience: 810 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably within a Malaysian public-listed company or an audit firm. Prior experience in team management or leadership is an advantage.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools.

- Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards (MFRS & IFRS) and Bursa Malaysia regulations.

- Leadership & Team Management: Proven ability to lead and develop junior finance team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in financial records, reporting, and regulatory compliance; responsible, committed, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey financial insights and analysis to stakeholders.

- Teamwork & Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to drive financial objectives.

- Adaptability: Capacity to adjust to changing business needs and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- MIA Membership: Registered member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).

- Nationality: Malaysian citizen
