Our current client is a newly established Bulgarian technology solutions company with growing iGaming projects. On their behalf, we are looking for an experienced Atlassian Administrator, who is ready to join their team and help them grow further.
Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of the Atlassian ecosystem across the organization, including Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management;
- Design, build, configure, and manage the Atlassian environment from scratch, starting with an on-premise setup and later leading the migration to Atlassian Cloud;
- Administer and configure Jira and Confluence, including workflows, schemes, permissions, custom fields, issue types, projects, and spaces;
- Manage user access, roles, and permissions, ensuring security, governance, and compliance across the platform;
- Lead the planning and execution of the migration from on-premise Atlassian infrastructure to cloud services;
- Develop and maintain automation and scripting solutions to optimize workflows and platform operations;
- Implement and maintain ScriptRunner functionality, including listeners, behaviours, validators, post-functions, and scheduled jobs;
- Build and maintain integrations between Atlassian tools and external systems using REST APIs, webhooks, and authentication methods;
- Support and improve cross-platform workflow automation, including integrations with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, MS Teams) where applicable;
- Establish Atlassian governance, best practices, and platform standards across teams;
- Provide ongoing administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of the Atlassian ecosystem;
- Act as the primary internal expert and owner of the Atlassian platform, supporting teams in adopting and using the tools effectively.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience);
- 4+ years of experience in Atlassian administration, platform management, or enterprise collaboration tools;
- 4+ years of hands-on experience administering Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management;
- Proven experience in building, configuring, and scaling Atlassian environments from scratch, not only maintaining existing setups;
- Experience with Atlassian migrations (Server/Data Center to Cloud) is highly preferred;
- Strong knowledge of Jira workflows, schemes, permissions, issue types, and project configurations;
- Scripting experience;
- Experience working with REST APIs, webhooks, and integrations with third-party systems;
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously, taking ownership of the Atlassian ecosystem;
- Experience working in fast-paced technical environments and collaborating with engineering, product, and operations teams;
- Excellent command of English language.
