Our client is a leading Austrian consulting company specializing in tax, audit, accounting, and legal services. As part of an international group, the firm combines extensive experience with in-depth knowledge of the local market to provide reliable solutions to both Bulgarian and international clients. On their behalf, we are looking for a Senior Auditor to join their team in Sofia.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance / Accounting / Auditing / Business Analysis or other relevant bachelor's / master's programme
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the field of audit and/or accounting;
  • Ability to multitask across projects;
  • Fluent English and/or German;
  • Excellent knowledge of the National Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards;
  • Knowledge of the International Auditing Standards is an advantage;
  • Good knowledge of the Bulgarian tax regulation is an advantage;
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in preparing financial analyses;
  • Time management and organizational skills;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Excellent MS Office 365 literacy;
  • Experience with an audit tool is an advantage.

Main responsibilities:

  • Preparation of high-quality working papers for the work performed and analyses of financial information;
  • Performing audit procedures and collecting required audit evidence;
  • Effective communication with senior management at each stage of conducting the audit work;
  • Demonstrate professionalism and competence in the client's environment;
  • Demonstrate teamwork, integrity, accountability, and positive attitude;
  • Participation in engagements related to the assessment of internal controls, financial reporting, and financial due diligence.
