About the job Bookkeeper
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recording financial transactions, such as sales, purchases, receipts, and payments into accounting system
- Preparing financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Reconciling accounts- bank statements, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other financial accounts to ensure that the balances reported in the accounting records match the actual balances
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting principles, regulations, and tax laws
- Document financial transactions by entering account information
- Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
Job Qualifications:
- A bachelors degree in accounting or similar is required
- A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting is required
- CPA is preferred but not required
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Knows how to use accounting software
- Strong written and verbal communication
