Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Recording financial transactions, such as sales, purchases, receipts, and payments into accounting system
  • Preparing financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Reconciling accounts- bank statements, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other financial accounts to ensure that the balances reported in the accounting records match the actual balances
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting principles, regulations, and tax laws
  • Document financial transactions by entering account information
  • Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures

Job Qualifications:

  • A bachelors degree in accounting or similar is required
  • A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting is required
  • CPA is preferred but not required
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
  • Knows how to use accounting software
  • Strong written and verbal communication
