We are looking for a law graduate who is passionate about migration law and ready to leverage their existing expertise in a supportive legal environment. You will be a perfect fit if you are:

  • A Registered Migration Agent with 2+ years of practical experience in visa applications and case management.
  • A law graduate (or nearing completion) awaiting admission to practice in Australia.
  • Seeking a structured graduate program that will provide comprehensive PLT-supervised legal experience.
  • Proactive, client-focused, and eager to develop your legal skills under expert guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be integral to the migration law team, with duties including:

  • Preparing and lodging a diverse range of visa applications (e.g., Skilled, Partner, Employer-Sponsored, Student).
  • Drafting detailed legal submissions, statutory declarations, and supporting documentation.
  • Conducting thorough legal research on migration legislation, policy, and case law.
  • Assisting with matters before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT).
  • Providing clear and empathetic advice to clients, managing their cases with professionalism.

Essential Requirements:

  • Law degree (completed or near completion) and eligible for admission in Australia.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Registered Migration Agent or under a MARA agent.
  • Demonstrable, hands-on experience managing a portfolio of visa cases.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Australian migration law and procedures.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • High degree of professionalism and empathy when handling sensitive client matters.
