Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Business Development Intern to play a pivotal role in fundraising support and business partnerships. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to startup fundraising, investor relations, and B2B partnership development. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, detail-oriented, and excited about working at the intersection of HRTech, AI, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fundraising Support:

    • Research and source potential angel investors, venture capital firms, and family office networks.
    • Maintain and update investor databases and outreach trackers.

    • Assist in preparing pitch materials, memos, and investor briefs.

    • Support scheduling, follow-ups, and communications with investor prospects.
  • Business Partnerships:

    • Identify and engage potential employer partners to expand UpStars employer network.
    • Support outreach campaigns to enterprises, startups, and recruitment firms.
    • Assist in partnership proposals, presentations, and follow-up activities.
    • Contribute to relationship management with prospective and existing partners.

Duration & Compensation

  • Internship duration: 3 months (with potential extension).

  • Compensation: Stipend + performance-based incentives.
