Senior Project Manager / Senior Estimator

Ben Ciccone, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Senior Estimator with experience in leading the delivery of infrastructure projects including the management of safety, superintendents, project / office engineers, the owner, and the public.

Role Overview

The individual shall be responsible for leading all aspects of project planning including, but not limited to project scheduling, resource allocation, project finance administrations, insurances, safety, quality management, and the development of value-engineering solutions. They will be expected to effectively manage client service, relationships, and expectations to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Prior to Construction:

- Interpret bid documents to understand project budget, plans/specifications
- Develop/analyze the project schedule
- Establish the owners office and field office electronic files
- Buy out project and execute subcontracts/purchase orders
- Manage EEO goals and participation
- Manage shop drawings and value engineering solutions
- Manage approval of health and safety plans (HASP) and permits
- Oversee other start-up activities

During Construction:

- Maintain project safety/security
- Manage correspondence and RFIs with the Owner
- Manage CPM schedule updates/logic and document delays
- Identify/document/negotiate extra work
- Manage project account payables
- Coordinate with Superintendents on field operations
- Confirm proper cost coding, monitor costs and project total cost
- Manage long-lead material procurement
- Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, the public, and the Owner

Post Construction:

- Perform all project closeout activities
- Manage final payments from the Owner
- Manage all final payments to subcontractors and suppliers
- Close out all administrative deliverables for an efficient, complete close-out

Qualifications

- Proven experience in serving as Project Manager for projects at $20M+
- Proven history of controlling the safety culture on a project
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate complex engineering solutions to a wide variety of stakeholders
- Working knowledge of Microsoft, HCSS Heavy Bid Estimating software, and Primavera Scheduling
- Experience in bidding to agencies such as NYSDOT, TANY, MNRR, DEP, and municipalities in Hudson Valley
- Experience in Lump Sum Site Development projects in the private sector

Compensation & Benefits

The annual salary range is $180,000 to $200,000, in addition to bonus potential, 401(k), family health benefits, paid time off, and more. The final salary will be determined based on the individuals experience and qualifications.
