CI/CD Automation Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a CI/CD Automation Engineer to design and scale build systems and automation frameworks for large-scale automotive software projects.

You will drive Bazel adoption, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and build Python-based automation solutions to improve performance, reliability, and developer productivity across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Bazel build systems, including WORKSPACE, targets, rules, and toolchains;
• Optimize remote caching and configure remote execution environments for performance and scalability;
• Integrate Bazel into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and drive adoption across teams;
• Develop Python automation frameworks, libraries, and tools for build, test, and orchestration;
• Design and optimize scalable CI/CD pipelines, including migrations between platforms;
• Improve developer workflows, troubleshoot issues, and enhance system performance and observability.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Python (automation frameworks, OOP, tooling);
• Deep hands-on experience with Bazel (build systems, custom rules, caching, remote execution, CI/CD integration);
• Solid experience with Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipeline design;
• Strong understanding of Git workflows, DevOps practices, and software delivery lifecycle;
• Proven problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with monorepos, observability tools, Linux/containers, or automotive/embedded systems
