Job Location: 100% remote
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Financial Business Central (BC) Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in financial processes to support our clients in optimizing and automating their accounting operations within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and redesign the General Ledger structure to support efficient financial reporting and analysis.
- Automate accounting processes and journal entries to improve accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.
- Design and implement an automated intercompany accounting structure to streamline financial consolidation and reporting across multiple entities.
- Integrate Business Central with third-party applications, such as Zenvoice, to enhance data exchange and process automation.
Utilize financial dimensions in Business Central to support advanced reporting, budgeting, and analytical capabilities. - Understand the impact of financial dimensions on financial statements and management reports, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all processes.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, develop solutions, and provide user training and support.
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance to ensure smooth implementation and reliable performance of financial solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including its financial modules.
- Strong knowledge of General Ledger structures and accounting principles.
Hands-on experience working with financial dimensions in Business Central and understanding their impact on financial statements and analysis. - Experience in automating journal entries and other financial processes within BC.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement intercompany structures in Business Central.
- Familiarity with integrating Business Central with third-party applications such as Zenvoice (or comparable solutions).
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with both technical teams and business users.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to tailor solutions to client needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or related Microsoft technologies.
