Role description:

We are a software outsourcing company looking for a skilled Magento Full-Stack Developer to join our client's team in Cluj-Napoca. You will be working on e-commerce projects for one of their long-term customers, helping them build, maintain, and evolve Magento-based online stores with strong performance and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom modules, themes, and integrations for Magento 2. 
• Write clean, scalable PHP code following Magento's best practices (OOP, MVC, dependency injection, design patterns). 
• Implement frontend features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Knockout.js or React. 
• Integrate Magento with third-party systems such as ERP, payment gateways, and logistics providers. 
• Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure code quality. 
• Collaborate with the customers product and QA teams in an agile setup.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Magento 2 development (Magento certifications are a plus). 
• Strong backend development skills in PHP. Solid understanding of frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript. 
• Experience with Magento frontend (Knockout.js, RequireJS) or modern JS frameworks like React. 
• Familiarity with: 
  • MySQL, 
  • Redis, Elasticsearch 
  • Version control (Git)
  • Docker and CI/CD pipelines 

Nice to Have

Experience with Symfony or Zend frameworks Varnish, caching strategies Working in a consulting/outsourcing setup with international clients
