Role Overview
The Senior Manager, Virtual Construction leads multiple functions within the Virtual Construction department, including BIM coordination and clash detection, 4D sequencing and animation, and model-based quality control. The role leads a team that includes Managers who own their own functions, allocates time, people, and budget across concurrent projects, implements the SOPs and BIM Execution Plans that govern coordination, sequencing, and quality on every project, and partners directly with clients, designers, engineers, trade partners, and Operations to resolve conflicts before they reach the field.
This is a leadership seat with real reach: turning virtual construction from a project service into a competitive advantage that shapes how teams plan, coordinate, and execute. The role is based at company headquarters and works alongside a growing team of Virtual Construction professionals supporting projects nationwide.

- Build bench strength through recruiting, onboarding, and knowledge sharing across the department.
- Own coordination outcomes on the most complex and highest-risk projects in the portfolio; direct model integration strategy across design teams, trade partners, and specialty contractors.

- Establish quality control procedures, model audit cadence, and quality benchmarks for all virtual construction deliverables.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement emerging tools and workflows; build the business case for adoption and scale what proves out.
- Partner with Operations and Preconstruction to align VDC scope with project requirements and pursuit timelines.
