Role Overview

The Detailer Lead - Electrical supports the company's manufacturing and fabrication operation through the creation, coordination, and management of electrical shop drawings and BIM models for prefabricated products, including skids, hot aisle containment (HAC) systems, and coolant distribution units (CDUs).

This role leads the electrical detailing team, partners closely with the design and modeling group, and keeps model output install-ready and buildable on the shop floor. Revit experience is not required; candidates with strong technical aptitude will be trained. This position reports to the Fort Worth facility three to four days per week.

This role may be filled at varying levels based on the candidate's skills, experience, and overall qualifications. Final title, level, and compensation will be determined through the interview and assessment process and will be aligned with internal equity and external market benchmarks.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead the electrical detailing team and constructability efforts for prefabricated skids, HACs, and CDUs
  • Partner with the design and modeling group to incorporate electrical constructability knowledge in a timely manner to minimize model rework
  • Lead communication among project team members on electrical coordination and scope; ensure concerns are addressed and resolved
  • Provide material, content, and feedback to electrical detailers on the team
  • Lead the final electrical trade coordination and sign-off process
  • Contribute to the design pull schedule to direct model development for electrical scope of work
  • Manage resources assigned to electrical detailing tasks
  • Participate in conceptual design for electrical systems supporting modular construction and constructability standards
  • Review and QA/QC electrical shop drawings, spool sheets, and models prior to release
  • Coordinate install-ready details with the fabrication shop floor to support prefabrication and modular delivery
  • Support budget planning and maintain cost accountability for electrical detailing work

Required Background

  • High school diploma or GED and 6+ years of progressive electrical detailing experience, or a completed electrical apprenticeship and 4+ years of related field experience
  • Strong technical aptitude and comfort with design software; Revit training provided
  • Hands-on knowledge of electrical trades and installation methods, including conduit, cable tray, panels, switchgear, and distribution
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical construction documents and specifications
  • Knowledge of the NEC and relevant local and state electrical codes
  • Experience leading or mentoring electrical detailers or field crews
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to prioritize multiple projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work onsite at the Fort Worth manufacturing and fabrication facility 3 to 4 days per week
  • Revit, Navisworks, Field Foreman or General Foreman, prefabrication, or data center experience is a plus
