CNC Machine Operator First Shift

About the Role:
Our Client in Suffolk, VA is urgently seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our second shift team. If you're experienced with CNC machining, especially with tight tolerances and stainless materials, and are looking to grow with a stable company, we would love to hear from you.

What You'll Do:

• Operate CNC machining centers capable of simultaneous milling and turning
• Work primarily with round bar stock (moderate size)
• Handle stainless materials with precisiontolerances as tight as <0.001
• Perform setups on machines (no programming required)
• Read and interpret G-code (a solid understanding is a big plus)
• Maintain quality standards and follow safety protocols

What We're Looking For:

• CNC machining experience, must be in lathes and mills
• Must have 5 years experience utilizing CNC machinery
• Ability to work with tight tolerances
• Comfortable with first shift hours (7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Mon through Fri)
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
• Self-starter who can hit the ground running
