Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced QA/QC Project Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial for executing our corporate-wide QA/QC process and achieving strategic goals. The QA/QC Project Coordinator will be responsible for implementing and managing quality assurance and quality control systems on job sites, ensuring projects meet and exceed regulatory compliance and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage the company's QA/QC management system at job sites.
  • Oversee and manage documentation processes, ensuring all project documents are maintained according to standards. This includes compiling and completing quality control documentation for as-built handover.
  • Schedule and oversee inspections and testing processes to meet compliance and standards.
  • Coordinate quality inspections with site subcontractors and vendors.
  • Coordinate non-destructive testing on site.
  • Review and understand project specifications and client requirements.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all quality-related communications with project stakeholders, including coordinating with customer representatives on quality matters.
  • Train project team members on quality protocols and compliance requirements.
  • Prepare and present quality reports to management and clients.
  • Identify areas for improvement in quality processes and implement changes to enhance project outcomes.
  • Analyze project outcomes to identify quality-related trends.
  • Control all non-conformance reports and undertake remedial action.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience on commercial mechanical or plumbing construction projects.
  • Experience with projects in healthcare, medical gas, educational, institutional, and military sectors.
  • Experience with startup and commissioning of projects ranging in size and scope from $25M+ is preferred.
  • Experience leading direct reports is required.
  • Experience with project Testing, Balancing, and Commissioning Teams.
  • Strong aptitude in construction.
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive attitude, professional, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work as both an individual contributor and a team player.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
