Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Detailer with a strong emphasis on fabrication support to join our innovative team. This critical role involves creating, modifying, and coordinating intricate BIM models, ensuring absolute accuracy and constructibility for direct manufacturing application. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Revit and advanced BIM methodologies, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to streamlining fabrication workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine highly detailed BIM models specifically for mechanical construction and direct fabrication, ensuring strict adherence to project specifications and manufacturing tolerances.
• Generate precise shop drawings directly from BIM models, collaborating intimately with fabrication teams to guarantee constructibility and seamless alignment with real-world manufacturing requirements.
• Conduct comprehensive BIM coordination and clash detection activities across multidisciplinary models (architectural, structural, MEP), proactively resolving design and construction conflicts.
• Prepare, modify, and manage all relevant construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, and critical fabrication details derived from BIM.
• Implement rigorous quality control checks on all BIM models and associated documentation to uphold company standards and client specifications.
• Actively participate in project meetings, providing expert technical insights and solutions related to BIM implementation and fabrication feasibility.
• Continuously pursue professional development in advanced BIM software, technologies, and industry best practices relevant to mechanical fabrication.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and other critical BIM software tools (e.g., Navisworks, BIM 360 for collaboration and coordination).
• Comprehensive understanding of BIM standards, protocols, and workflows, with proven experience in advanced coordination and rigorous clash detection.
• Extensive experience in detailing specifically for fabrication, including an in-depth knowledge of prefabrication workflows, spooling, and the direct generation of shop drawings for mechanical systems.
• Expert ability to interpret complex construction drawings, specifications, and federated BIM models (including HVAC, Plumbing, and Piping).
• Previous direct experience in a BIM Detailer role for HVAC, Mechanical, or Plumbing trades is highly preferred.
• A strong foundation in field experience within HVAC, Mechanical, or Plumbing trades is a significant asset, demonstrating real-world understanding of installation and constructibility.
• Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, with a keen eye for detail and analytical precision.
• Superior communication and collaborative skills, essential for cross-functional team coordination.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
