USALCO® is seeking an Inside Account Manager to join our team, reinforcing our position as a leader in potable and industrial water and wastewater treatment chemistry. The Inside Account Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic market and sales initiatives to drive growth and effectively manage all facets of their assigned accounts.

The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who thrives in collaborative environments and possesses exceptional communication skills, enabling them to articulate information clearly and respond effectively to inquiries from managers, associates, customers, and suppliers.

This position offers the flexibility of working remotely from a home office.

Key Responsibilities

As an Inside Account Manager, your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for all customer account management issues within your assigned portfolio.
  • Formulating and executing plans to maximize company revenue.
  • Promoting and selling the company's products to existing clients as well as potential customers.
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with clients and prospects through follow-ups on inbound leads, proactive cold calling, and outreach from marketing campaigns.
  • Developing strategies to effectively displace competitors in the market.
  • Providing regular reports on inside sales activities and accountability measures.
  • Participating in forecasting, strategic planning, and resource allocation for accounts.
  • Conducting calls and web-based presentations to support sales initiatives and enhance product positioning.
  • Creating targeted campaigns aimed at increasing the product pipeline.
  • Preparing and delivering professional presentations and proposals, predominantly in electronic formats.
  • Maintaining up-to-date customer information.
  • Actively cultivating a network of business contacts.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency in relevant software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and CRM applications (Salesforce preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and English communication skills.
  • Ability to swiftly problem-solve and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in roles such as Inside Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Customer Service Representative, or a related position.
  • A valid drivers license.

Working Conditions

The role involves primarily indoor work.

Physical requirements include standing, sitting, stooping, reaching, bending, and typing.

Typical workdays are Monday through Friday, with potential weekend work as needed.
