Solution Architect

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to design and lead end-to-end architecture for a cloud migration from Alibaba Cloud to Microsoft Azure. This role focuses on defining scalable, secure, and resilient solutions while working closely with technical leads, infrastructure, security, and delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solution architecture for cloud migration initiatives
• Assess current application and infrastructure landscape and define target-state architecture on Azure
• Define migration strategies (rehost, replatform, refactor) aligned to business and technical requirements
• Ensure architecture meets security, performance, scalability, availability, and compliance standards
• Provide technical guidance and governance throughout the project lifecycle
• Review architecture designs, technical decisions, and implementation approaches
• Identify architectural risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect on enterprise IT or cloud initiatives
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure architecture, including:
  • Compute, networking, storage
  • Identity & access management
  • High availability and disaster recovery
• Solid understanding of application architecture, preferably Java-based systems
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and integration patterns
• Experience delivering cloud migration or system modernization projects
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture

Nice to Have

• Experience with Alibaba Cloud
• Experience with microservices, APIs, and container platforms (AKS, Docker)
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code
