About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Tech Project Manager with a strong background in software development, particularly in Java, .NET, and modern application frameworks. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end technology projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure successful delivery of solutions that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Lead and manage full project lifecyclefrom initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, to closure.

  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource plans.

  • Track project progress, manage risks and issues, and ensure timely delivery.

  • Prepare project documentation, status reports, and stakeholder updates.

Technical Leadership

  • Collaborate with development teams working with Java, .NET, and other modern technologies.

  • Understand technical requirements, system architecture, and integration constraints.

  • Facilitate technical discussions and support solution design decisions.

  • Bridge communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, QA, DevOps, and product owners.

  • Work with vendors or external partners where applicable.

  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment on project priorities.

Quality & Governance

  • Ensure adherence to project governance frameworks, SDLC/Agile methodologies, and compliance standards.

  • Support testing cycles, UAT planning, and deployment activities.

  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in IT project management, software development, or related roles.

  • Hands-on experience or strong working knowledge in Java, .NET, APIs, microservices, and cloud-based applications.

  • Proven track record delivering medium to large-scale technology projects.

Technical Skills

  • Understanding of SDLC, Agile (Scrum/Kanban), and DevOps processes.

  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Ability to analyse technical requirements and contribute to architectural discussions.

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Leadership qualities with a collaborative and proactive mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications.

  • Experience in financial services, fintech, e-commerce, or enterprise systems.

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
